too bad... because I have a black car and when before it was bought, my parents also strongly advised me against the color black. I still went thru with the black color and was very happy with it until today.

    Hi!

i read a comment sa inquirer a while back that i think is the best description for the City..."anime" -- think DragonBall Z B).

If i had the means, i'd had to pass on both Vios and City...ang liit eh! If not for my doubts about maintenance costs, i'd go for the Lynx B). The Sentra's nice, pero...parang di sporty ang dating ng 2003 model...still like the 1997-2000 model(series 3 ba un?).

Re the color black...pag nyt driving, most probably naka on naman ung lights eh...

the gear selector in the City's steering wheel is a gimmick which you will get tired of in about 15 minutes. You don't select a gear, you suggest a gear to the car and thinks it over.

To know what I am talking about, try borrowing a Honda City of a while and get the feel of the steering wheel shifter.

In either car, if you choose the A/T version, you'll probably end up with the shifter in "D" most of the time.

yup... gahnoon! Also the City might be quick accelerating in speeds below 60kph but reality & physics catches up very quickly as you accelerate to 90kph and use a calendar to measure your acceleration beyond 100kph. 83HP from the 1.3liter engine can only go so fast.

The best A/T with manual selector I have tried was the one found in the 2001 BMW 318. Feels almost like a manual. Smooth shifts (although not fast enough if you are in a drag race).
