Kaya siguro 5 out of 5 ang rating ng motioncars.com sa city. yun nga lang, d ko gusto side view nya but i can live with it skirt and 15" lang ktapat nyan kgaya sa mugen.com

One thing more, IMO lang po, KUNG mangangarera ako hindi ako kukuha ng 1.3 or 1.5 syempre 1.6 pinaka mababa. kaso, . . . . . . hindi ako nangangarera. peace.

ASK ko lang po kung manual transmission yung 7speed?? sorry po di ko alam di pa talaga ako nakakadrive ng bagong CITY eh vios pa lang na try ko malakas kahit 1.3 lang. eh di short lang ang range ng bawat gear ng city?? or every gear kaya mo tagalan at ibirit????? what i mean is you need 2 shift kaagad sa kasunod na gear??

the CVT of the city is set as a 7-speed.

pero i dunno, i don't see the logic behind setting CVTs as 6-speed (lancer) or 7-speed (city). the CVT gives infinite gears (which is why you're getting CVT in the first place), so why limit it to 6 or 7? afaik renault williams' 1993 CVT F1 prototype (which was shot down in the prototype stages anyway due to the tech limit ruling, but very promising) wasn't limited to a number of gears.

afaik the infinite ratio of gears is only between the 1st gear up to the 7th gear

hey guys! i'm graduating soon and my parents are giving me a car.

thing is i can only choose between a Vios and a City.

i'm not so great with cars. i just... drive them. (haha) so reading the past threads are not really helping me since it's a bit too technical and i'm sure my dad will figure that out. can anyone share his/her feelings when driving a Vios and a City? importante din sa akin yung emotional factors na binibigay ng cars. (hehe)

nikka, welcome to tsikot forums. actually there are a lot of threads here regarding city VS. vios. if you can, try the search button first. pero i'll answer you question pa rin.

it depends on the trim of the car if you're getting the top of the line vios (1.5G A/T) or the top of the line city (1.5 vtec, w/srs(airbags)&abs).

the city would cost a lot more, even sa 1.3 variants nila. thats our dilemma too dati, 1.3E vios or 1.3S city. we ended up choosing the city. because of its awesome interiors. vios' interior is just too plain looking for me.
