October 8th, 2006 03:17 PM #13If the answer is 'Mazda6 2.3L', the next (harder?) question may be ... 'Mazda6 2.3L (164 hp), Subaru Forester 2.5XT (227 hp), or wait for Mazda CX-7?'
Am wondering about ground clearance on the Mazda6 ... flooded streets, bad roads. Is this a concern, or not really.
Will the CX-7 be sold in Philippines soon?

Floods? Do what I do... take the day off. My Lynx has survived 5-foot floods.
Of course, it was parked 4 feet off the ground...
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

If budget is not a constraint... then the Camry 3.5L Dual VVTi is your ticket to near Euro luxury. Just be prepared to shell out almost 2M bucks for it. Even its lower variant's price is pricey compared to the fully loaded Mazda6 & Accord VTi.
If it is the 2.3L / 2.4L variant shootout - my vote goes to the Mazda6. Its design is more well-executed than the Accord (though the new Camry does look gorgeous also with Lexus like lines). Handling is superb and the auto tranny does respond fast (unlike those found in the Mazda3).
There is nothing inherently wrong with either of the vehicles... if you are a yuppie or not-your-typical-executive then the Mazda6 would be your ticket. If you find nothing wrong with being just another car in the sea of Toyotas and Hondas out there - then go ahead and buy an Accord or Camry.
