    Which is better in terms of the usual grounds:

    Exterior looks
    Interior looks
    Handling performance
    Engine performance
    Chick magnet appeal
    Features
    Value for money

    * * * * *

    On quick specs, both have:
    All power features
    Front disk, rear drums brakes
    SOHC 16 valve engine

    ESi's got:
    Engine JDM d15b vtec *130hp crank horsepower
    Trunk lid
    Double wishbone suspension (sporty)

    323F's got:
    Engine b6-2e (carburated) *90hp crank horsepower
    Hatch door
    Pop-up headlamps
    (?) suspension (?)

    * * * * *

    Which do you think is better loved as a car for keeps?...

    The Civic ESi is a car that will be easier to maintain in the long run because of better availability of parts for it.

    Just take care of the rust prone areas like inside the rear fenders where mud can accumulate and contribute to rust.

    As for performance, there is much more performance you can get from the ESi plus all the aftermarket parts developed for it.

    I see. I should have bought another ESi as a replacement for the one I lost..

    I can't help but compare the Civic with the 323F. Although it's not really a bad car and is actually fun to drive as well, but the Civic's just got more torque and power.

    yeap bro you have to stay away with that freaking rush area of the ESI... my bilas have such but the problem is that the car's roof is sprinkled with dots. if you've get another one try to the park the car with a nice shade day and night. hehehehe
