If I can afford any of these venerated cars, I'd pick the Lexus for its serviceability, reliability and quality. Some people are just brand conscious above everything else. But to be honest, with that kind of money I'd buy a corolla and another houseLEXUS vs. MERCEDES vs BMW

Our first Bmw always had problems, but then after I switched service center (from Makati to Libis) the problems went away, our next bmw's never had any major problems, but I would like to try Lexus as I have heard great feedbacks from other owners.

Unfortunately, with our poor road and weather conditions, most European cars seem to break down more often. Plus it costs a lot to fix these cars.

From my experience in owning "luxury" car brands, Lexus has been most reliable so far.

Once my youngest kid is full grown and moves out, The wife and I will get either an Acura or Infinity. Most of my relatives here have settled on those two brands. When they were younger, they were mostly Datsun/Nissan fans.
