April 29th, 2011 11:51 PM #61nice thread. saktong sakto sa mind ko. nagiisip din ako kung bibili ako civic 2.0 o GTA. Pero GTA talaga maganda kaso my dad is a Honda fan.
sa speed/acceleration, GT-A vs SiR? panalo padin talaga SiR?
however, sa looks palang, panalo na GTA.

Civic SiR 0-100kph is around 8 seconds.
Lancer EX GLX 0-100kph is around 9 seconds.
But you don't get the same amount of luxury, safety and looks as the Lancer EX.
You can buy a Civic SiR but all you are getting is a 12 year old car with old car problems.
If you want raw speed from an old car, then a Sentra B13/B14 with a SR20 engine is your choice of road weapon. It will eat Civic SiRs for breakfast even with the SR20 bone stock.

Hahahaha. Bakit niyo ba kinakatakutan ang SiR ? Porket they're speed maniacs ? Sus. Ano ba yun.
Mahal gas ngayon oy ! Kukuha ka pa ng SiR tapos ilalaban mo pa sa karera. That's just so stupid. Eh ano naman kung mag paunahan kayo sa 0-100 ng SiR ? Atleast sa GTA you get the comfort that you want, a good looking car ( yes mas maganda sa SiR na palagi ko nalang nakikita, iba pa nga poser na SiR ) and BRAND NEW pa.
Kung bibili kayo ng SiR > GTA para makapantay lang sa kapwa niyo SiR, i'd say that's a stupid idea, a VERY stupid idea.
Ipagpapalit mo ang brand new sa 12 y.o. car ? sheesh.
Okay sana if you have a project car that's just awaiting for a transplant, yun pwede pa. Go. Kasi dito mga 200-300k lang naman magagastos mo and mabilis na yun. Pero SiR > Brand new na GTA pa ??? Sus.

That's your assignment.
What I posted are 0-100kph performance of stock engines in stock cars.
I did not post combination of cars & engines not found in stock/factory.
Civic with B20B/B16-head hybrid, just like Sentra w/ SR20DET, are not found from the factory so 0-100kph performance figures will vary greatly, hence I did not post figures for them.

^^ some people still go for speed than economy (hindi ako isa dun). baka ginagawang base line lang yung SiR for speed and acceleration.
EDIT: *GH... natanong ko lang baka you have an idea. parang unfair lang b16 vs sr20 kaya ko natanong b20b.Last edited by archie123456789; April 30th, 2011 at 12:47 PM.

performance benchmark, oo naman. B16 as a stock engine ? what more can you ask for. pero diba, to consider it over a brand new car because it's just faster by a second is simply pointless.
but then again, if you have an EK/EG/B13/B14 parked in your garage awaiting for a transplant then by all means do so. iba pa rin ang may toy car, but if you're comparing it ( kung wala ka pang project car & bibili ka palang ... ) to a brand new vehicle thats performance is also top-notch, then ... brand new na.
also, pwede rin yung " project car " if you don't have the budget to buy a brand new car. iba pa rin ang difference ng 300k ( spent on mods. mods. mods ) vs. 1.1M ( spent to buy a STOCK car ... )
*archie1-9, well hindi rin naman ganun ka-economic ang GT-A. in fact, nasa 7km/L lang ito, last time i checked the EX thread - GH, cmiiw nalang. siguro more of speed vs. comfort mas " swak " kung ganun. hehehe.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
