February 20th, 2008 04:46 PM #121any "well maintained" car will last a long time. be it euro, jap, american, korean, russian, chinese or indian brand. dapat ang labanan e "not maintained" car. dapat may test na ganyan. straight out of the casa tapos drive 'til the car dies without any maintenance or repair. dito malalaman kung sino talaga pinakamatatag.

pero doon sa mga nilista mong kotse, I'd take the SLR :naughty2: hehehehe
aite, peace.

actually, FORD is good too! well, as long as its their Trucks and Vans. and probably some of their cars too. also, I know about the joke but I think I would say that its only a "joke" and their trucks and vans are not that really bad at all.
I have a 1994 Ford Aerostar XL V6 support van, for daily driving and for work. and it has about 140K miles and it didnt give me any problems whatsoever... yet! lolz! *hope not!!.. knock on wood!!*
aite, peace.

Our first car in the Philippines was the old front-wheel drive Ford Laser/Escort (the one based on the old Mazda platform...). Tiny little car, shocks couldn't take the weight of four people (we would rub over every bump) and it was rattly and rusty... Gods, I loved that car. It was nimble, fun and good looking.
My current Ford is another chameleon, like your Contour (man, you're still holding on to that thing? Props! )... it's another Ford-badged Mazda (but you know that already...). Great car.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Sensing a hint of weakening on our 6yr old Thai Pana DIN74, went to the distributor to have it...
Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
