For the Ford Escape..they give a lot of discounts if cash buyer ka. So...1.2M naging 950k ++ lng.
FOr Tucson...its discount is only P20k. So..CRDI..out of reach pa rin.

If that is the case... go for the Escape!

    Ssangyong Actyon!

950K for the automatic, 900K for the manual.

2.3L Mercedes-derived gasoline engine. It weighs a ton though (actually two tons). But it has a full ladder suspension and can go off-road.

i drive a 2.3L tribute, the earlier released model (06 model?).

its the same as the escape as far as i know. my FC is usually around 7km/li in MM driving; never below 6km/li so far.

riding comfort and engine power is good enough, the reasons why i got this car. we also have a hyundai and i had test drove some newer released korean models like the carens. the suspension of the korean makes seem to be the same among all models; its not bad but i like the "thud" that the tribute makes when going over pothholes better than the korean made suspensions.

AC is cool and keeps me comfortable all the time. i usually set it in the lowest blower position becuase there is nothing usable lower than that. it's just the air recirculating-blower switch that is quite different from the norm and needs getting used to (not sure abt the new models).
