The RS loses the the SiR stock to stock in a drag-rage, but matches it in overtaking urgency and beats it in every other department (handling, comfort, additional features, BRAKES (though the stock brakes fade after a few minutes of flogging)).

An EK with a K20, even a "basic" 155-160 hp K20, will utterly destroy an SiR. A B14 Sentra with an SR20 and a manual will match an SiR... properly modified (IHE), it will destroy it.

Accord with H22... if you're willing to spend on the 200 hp motor, maybe.

The FD with the K20 is a good match for the SiR (again, like the RS, it's a bit heavy), and the K20 responds incredibly to breathing and tuning mods. Good luck finding a K20 FD with a manual. They're rare as hen's teeth. Hell, I only know one guy who owns one.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

200 kph translates to roughly 5000 RPM with a 6000 RPM limiter (3ZR-FE on a 10th gen Altis). Not exactly hitting the redline yet. At that speed, the brakes are still capable of slowing the car to within the speed limit without much fuss.

Never got to check on the oil though, but water levels were still fine even after sustained high speed.

An Accord with an H22 and a manual should be able to best the SiR. Along with that comes better stability and a more comfortable ride. With the 6th gen Accord, you get ABS with the brakes.

According to family experience, the 7th gen Accord 2.4 (K24A4) with 5 speed A/T gives better acceleration from startup, with similar top end speed (albeit at very much different rpms). Both have 160bhp, after all. This one's much more stable at top speed though.

A family friend's K20 Civic (5AT with paddle shifters) was able to hold its own against our Accord 3.0V6 in an impromptu 0-140km/h sprint at NLEX. It was actually quicker off the line probably courtesy of paddle shifters , with the Accord V6 only creeping away when nearing the triple digits. Definitely able to give the SiR a serious run for its money.

Bakit ba baseline dito ng fast car is SiR?

Kapag nagtatanong ng modified na kotse, parating kasali... "Will it beat the SiR?"

    Pansin ko lang hehe
