Yup. Continuously Variable Transmission. No fixed gear ratios, no torque converter either. It gives you the economy of a manual and the ease of use of an automatic.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

guys, im thinking of getting a 2nd car
requirement is really fuel efficient, fuel consumption klm to liter is high.

    ano mas matipid sa fuel?

    a) 1.3 or 1.5?

    b) tapos City ba or Jazz?

ako, matipid naman tumapak, 80 normally mabilis na.

    thanks ah guys.
your posts tlga ang basis ng mga choices made dito sa forums.

    1.3 is more fuel efficient
Jazz should be more fuel efficient because of less weight compared to the same spec city. but the difference is very small in 1-2% better fuel effiency lang.
If you don't need the trunk, the jazz is better, more versatile, slightly better resale, looks better too.

I just bought a 1.3 with cvt transmission, still waiting for the licence plates to arrive. The transition from driving a Fortuner to the Jazz takes a lot of getting used to, engine response is slightly better than the SUV but the handling took me by surprise! I hope the Jazz will be as economical as advertized, bought the car so that my wife can have something to drive when I'm not around. Will keep you guys informed of it's performance in future post.

2005 Honda Jazz 1.3S manual transmission
    City driving: 11-14 km/L
    Highway driving: 17-28 km/L

And I'm not pulling any of your legs. This is the real deal.
