    Tried this path. It was quite reliable but I was not happy with it. Something about it being so 'anonymous' and getting lost in the sea of vehicles. Makes a good appliance car, though.

    get the vti 2001.. matipid sa gas and marami parts available... my cuz used to own a civic too but he sold it and bought the optra but magsisi cya kc malakas daw sa gas kahit 1600 lang engine unlike daw a civic na matipid tlga...

    Considering both cars are in good condition, I would go for the OPTRA if I plan not to have this car for long, say 1-2 years max.

    But I don't have plans in replacing the car in the near future, I would go for the Civic for maintenance purposes and parts availability.
    Let's say nag long drive ka and the car broke down somewhere in the provinces, chances ara baka may mabili kang parts ng Civic compared to OPTRA.
