Form and Functionality go to the GE Jazz for me. When I first saw it in the metal and in blue in early 2009, I wanted one. In this comparo, however, the 1.3L engine is what made me think twice, coz the 1.3L engine of the current manual transmission City didn't seem to like revving high.

Of the two, I'd probably pick the Yaris if power is the main priority, and the Jazz if you need the space/flexibility.

1.5L Jazz for the best compromise in power and flexibility.
