Ano po bang usual gas consumption ng CR-v gen 1? yung m/t? Yung pinagpipilian naman po kasi ng friend ko crv or eg hatch. 280k - 300k budget nya eh. hehehe

    OT
And about nga po pala sa car na kukunin ko, I'm hired na so pinahiram muna ko ng mga friends ko ng 92' big body. , pang buy and sell nila yun pero gamitin ko daw muna for the mean time. Hehehe. I was planning to get a brand new car nalang kasi, may stable income naman na in a few months. mas ok talaga nag hihintay at nagiisip mabuti hahaha.

EG hatch is outrageously overpriced. It is too barebones in stock form, with no amenities and a puny engine. If it's modified, you can't guarantee it's reliability either.

CRV is fine, though don't expect good FC. The manual may be a bit more liveable though.

If he wants a frugal and fast Honda, I'd suggest a 1st gen Jazz VTEC M/T.

Now, I don't really see anything wrong with a bigbody Corolla , especially if it's the 1.6GLi. Fast, frugal, and extremely reliable. If you're still considering getting installment though, I'd suggest you think hard. Very hard...

FC mas matipid yung FD, although kung 1 or 2 km/li lang ang difference my choice will be the CRV.

for my project/college car i'll choose the crv kasi i want space, higher ground clearance, ok na sa akin 146hp kahit walang vtec. saka bias ako kasi i'm not a fan of any civics.

If I we're a newbie, I'd stay away from very old cars. And this is a 23 year old car. Problems are bound to come up left and right and you'd probably spend at least as much as the car is worth on repairs and upgrades.

Is this going to be a project car? If it is, then best of luck to you... I'd personally prefer the EK hatch though, even if its converted.
