Honda civic 2012 vs. Mazda 2012 , which is bets for my first car?

LOL. There is this "Prestige Feeling" again on Honda owners, at least on us Pinoys. We tend to be like that kasi, similar when we say "oh Mazda is a lemon sabi ni ano, coz ganyan daw kasi sabi ng mekaniko sa kanto... blah blah...". Like what most of us did on Korean cars years back, but now what Kia and Hyundai are doing great. We own an FD and I don't have this prestige feeling about it whatsoever. It's just another eco everyday family car for me.

Ok back to topic, the new Mazda 3 is also good actually. Exterior +1 over the new civic. Interior I have to give the new 3 as well. Performance the civic has a slight advantage, no Skyactiv engine? Price is on the Honda side because it's cheaper. Just my humble 2 cents.
