It looks like it is within range of the market rate, if not lower pa ata.. mas maganda kung 1st owner sya.

tumbok mo dude. i average in that range.
but in 6 years, i am running on 85k. minsan kasi hindi ako nagdadala ng oto or may pamalit.
but yung mga ex-cars ko, ganyan ang figures.

My car is 1yr 7mos, driven daily in the highway, with 67k kms.

As you said ~12k kms/year, that would be ~1k kms/month.
Knowing his daily route could give you a hint if he is credible.

Looks like a work horse indeed. Mine's 9 months old and at 10K odo.

So, 1.1K kms per month means I would be at 105,600 kms in 8 years.

I've seen cars with well over 100,000km that looks and feels better than its low mileage counterpart say with 30-40,000km.

    BTT:
Most of my kms covered on a daily basis is from SLEX and provincial paved roads. My rough estimate would be 80kms in SLEX and 50kms in provincial road.
Though my unit has 67k kms already, I haven't replaced anything yet (aside from the consumables like oil, fluids, etc.).

I am not an expert but my biased evaluation is that my car still runs like its brand new self.
    - consistent FC
    - same NVH
    - no kalampags from the suspension
