mga sir/mam..if given the situation, if im going to offer u a car, honda civic fd 2008 model 1.8s MT, 100k odo reading..priced at 350k..will you entertain or consider my offer?

Cars owned by people in the south metro average around 15k KM per year, even higher if the car is used daily.

In 6 years, nasa almost 100k km na tinakbo ng mga kotseng ito.

tumbok mo dude. i average in that range.
but in 6 years, i am running on 85k. minsan kasi hindi ako nagdadala ng oto or may pamalit.
but yung mga ex-cars ko, ganyan ang figures.

Do you know his daily route?
My car is 1yr 7mos, driven daily in the highway, with 67k kms.

As you said ~12k kms/year, that would be ~1k kms/month.
Knowing his daily route could give you a hint if he is credible.

Looks like a work horse indeed. Mine's 9 months old and at 10K odo.

So, 1.1K kms per month means I would be at 105,600 kms in 8 years.

Having a high mileage car is not necessarily bad as long as its been well taken care of. If you think about it, kaya nga umabot ng ganun kalaki yung mileage nya dahil naslagaan sya, if not matagal na yan bumigay. I've seen cars with well over 100,000km that looks and feels better than its low mileage counterpart say with 30-40,000km.

Pero kung ako bibili, mas preferred ko pa rin yung sariwa na low mileage

ok kung ganito ang mindset ng buyer or let say kakilala siguro may-ari ng sasakyan. in most cases, kapag high mileage ang assumption agad abused ang makina.

Diesel-fed and tsikot ko sir kaya every 5k kms ang PMS ko.
Halos every 1.5months bumabalik ako sa CASA para magpa-service.

Most of my kms covered on a daily basis is from SLEX and provincial paved roads. My rough estimate would be 80kms in SLEX and 50kms in provincial road.
Though my unit has 67k kms already, I haven't replaced anything yet (aside from the consumables like oil, fluids, etc.).

I am not an expert but my biased evaluation is that my car still runs like its brand new self.
- consistent FC
- same NVH
- no kalampags from the suspension

issues arise when they consider the car as a status symbol or a living creature.
