Our 2009 City 1.5E feels slow and it takes a long time to reach its redline.

On Ford's 1.0L Ecoboost, it is rated at 125PS at 6000rpm and 170Nm at 1500-4500rpm with overboost (200Nm) at 5000rpm. You can redline that tachometer easily and the car just scoots.

This new gen City or Jazz paired with the CVT feels more responsive compared to the previous 5AT models. Although I agree the Fiesta's engine response and power is better

We can only drool at how much better the Fiesta ST with its 1.6L Ecoboost engine (197hp) can offer in terms of driving excitement.

Let's hope that HondaPH will bring the 2016 Honda Civic with its new Earth Dreams 1.5L turbo engine. Some say its power output, torque, and fuel efficiency will be better than the current 1.8L and 2.0L models.
