Sana nga po, jazz and corolla talaga first choices ko kaso i ended up choosing between Fiesta sports plus and the new focus. Naghanap din po ako ng mga remaining stocks ng previous generation ng focus, nakahanap naman po ako but was drooled by the toys the new one offers. Regarding sa invitation, im underage pa po e, so i guess hindi pa po ako pwde magregister?

Personally, i would recommend the Altis for reliability, durability, practicality and performance but if you are a student of the green and white school or the other school infront of Mc Do-Vito Cruz, the Altis is one boring car. The TOTL of the Ford Focus, in comparison is full of bells and whistles and might be suitable for your age. However, in the long run, Ford cars (or American brand cars, in general) are not known as keepers nor command a good resale price in case you decide to sell it after graduation (assuming you get another car as a grad gift). They also tend to look "dated" 2-3 years down the road. If I were you and your need is not immediate, I will wait and see if Honda Civic will actually change their model for 2013 ( there is a rumor of an emergency refresh). If you are decided on the Ford Focus, though, then go ahead and buy, I think the car will serve you well for your 3 yrs or so in college, just dispose before the warranty expires.

    1. I don't consider Focus as an American car/brand since it was engineered and designed in Germany. I see a lot of 1st gen Focus on the road which means that they are almost 5years old but they're still up and running.
    2. Looks are subjective. Mk2.5 looks as good as new (for me)
    3. Dispose after the warranty? Wow. parang damit lang? pag nalaos bili agad ng bago? come on! wala ka bang kahit konting pagmamahal sa kocheng binili mo? hahaha. Focus yan, sigurado magugustuhan yan ni TS!

Thanks guys. without you i probably would have got the 118i which isnt my taste (no pun intended) instead of the hot focus.

i have one more problem, Color. i really want the white one but was thinking na baka madali mamula kasi yung everest namin 2007 model obvious yung pamumula when parked next to other white cars. one color din that i like is the whinning blue, dude it leaves me drooling. what do you think? any suggestions?

The shade of blue of the Focus isn't the same as the shade of blue of the Fiesta. Ang magkapareho ng pagka-blue, yung Everest at yung Focus. Simply put, the blue of the Focus looks cheap compared to the darker blue of the Fiesta. Mukhang toy car.

If I were to get a Focus, it'd be in red. If not, in white. If not, in black.
