January 27th, 2013 04:23 PM #13Opinion ko lang. Correct me na lang if mali. 1995 model ang car mo. Is it bought brand new? Limited budget pa. If yes, then long term user ka so dapat choose a car that is cheaper to maintain in 10-15years period.
Maintenance cost ng 10 years old CRDI engine ay isama mo na rin. Mabilis masira ang nozzle ng diesel compare sa gasoline. If alam mo ang cost ng isang Hyundai CRDI nozzle, clue - 5 digits, then you know the rest. :D But hindi mo rin alam if bababa ang price after 10 years.

hmmm... napaisip ako dito ha.
I have to say Hyundai Accent if my biggest consideration would be its awesome diesel engine. lots of low end torque at your disposal which the Honda Jazz lacks very much. Looks, subjective naman. depende sa taste mo. Both cars look great.
Sa space, nothing beats the Jazz specially having the ULT. You would be suprised how spacious the Jazz is.
Reliability - since brand new naman kukunin mo, you shouldnt worry too much about it. in the long haul dun mu pa lang mararamdaman yun. kung masipag ka naman sa maintenance nya and follow routine PMS walang magiging issues dyan. just be extra cautious nga lang sa FUEL FILTER on the accent diesel, since its diesel, the quality of the diesel we have here in the PH is quite dirty. basta masipag ka lang magpalit ng fuel filter, i wouldnt see any problem normally 30,000 palitan ng fuel filter, get the best your money can buy. heavy duty high efficiency filters should take care of that.
Pricing: sure win and accent dito. although am just guesstimating. mahal kasi talaga ang Honda.

January 27th, 2013 05:38 PM #19Mataas pa rin ang resale value ng diesel accents. Reliable kasi, at tipid sa krudo, kaya kaunting owners ang nagbebenta ng units nila. Same with Getz CRDI na unang lumabas.

ganun nga sir bayen sa mga reviews sa jazz, the undisputed ult which makes the jazz spacious and flexible. i've read somewhere sa hyundai thread may owner don 2007 accent follow niya lang pms niya then palit fuel filter and check egr every 20k kms, ok padin daw accent nya till now, has around 110k sa odo. yup si dct, test drive na lang both units para magkaalaman na hehe, had tried jazz last week, yung hyundai accent crdi d pa nakakarating dito samin, antay na lang muna para maka test drive. got to eye the ex na rin sir boy, kasi ngayong 2012 lang lumabas yung 1.6 variant nila na ex db? correct me na lang sir if im wrong, and yup kahit sa mga 2nd hand car dealers medyo madalang hyundai accent na crdi, either sobrang tipid talaga ng accent or kaka addict ifloor yung pedal hehe. thx sa suggestions guys, will give updates as soon as magka crdi na dito sa iloilo.
Choice I would have made as well.
