^they specifically asked for pick-up based SUV sir, di nila tinanggap yun Sta Fe dito hehe.

Have driven only the 2.5 Everest (im an owner) and the 4x2 Alterra. Id say yun sa Alterra, good match of AT to its engine.

The Eve's shift shock, got used to it na lang. If ever i needed to overtake, its responsive enough, at kung gusto ko magtipid, it gets the job done naman.

i dont want to get into the technical details of an AT, its a PITA.

I have driven a Fortuner and Montero Sport SE, both with 4 a/t, extensively. I'll go with the Toyota. There is less shift shocks compared to the Mitsubishi, and I'm not too satisfied with the gear ratios of the Montero. 1st gear is a bit short, which is fine, but 2nd gear is too tall and 3rd is also a bit tall for my taste. The Toyota's seems better in finding the right gear when you need a quick downshift and shift quality is much smoother than the Montero Sport.

Which has the best A/T: Montero Sport, Fortuner, Everest or Alterra?
