Simple yan... if you're a guy, get the Fortuner. Rav4, even with the facelift, it still looks like a girl's cross-over vehicle. Fortuner, looks like a real SUV (although it's still claimed as a cross-over).
However, I suggest you get the 2.7 Gas version. Less maintenance, 150 hp (same power as the 3.0 diesel), Diesel is noisy, rattles, and fumes get into the cabin when you open the trunk, and most importantly, the 2.7L unit is cheaper. I got the 2.5D-4D, regretted it. I should have gotten the 2.7 gas version. Consumption difference is negligible compared to gas. 7.2km/liter for diesel, 6.5km/liter for gas. Tapos, diesel service is every 5,000km while gas is every 10,000 kms.

Varta used as replacement battery in German cars ... but they cost double that of Motolite ... not...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
