    Both models with similar acquisition cost. Usage around 24kms per day, city driving, which one is cheaper to run in the next 5 years, considering maintenance, gasoline costs, insurance, etc. Thanks for your input.

    i think the diesel MT will be cheaper to use than that AT gas model.
    the fuel costs alone...

    Between the 2, I'd go for Diesel M/T. But if you could stretch the budget by a bit, I'd say get the Diesel A/T
