I asked around yesterday and today, may mga dealers na nagbibigay na ng discount (at least 50k from one dealer, higher pa sa isa) for the Petrol version.

up to 30k lang daw sa Diesel version since bago pa.

i prefer the focus. especially the TDic. test drive it last sat. nice torque in 2k-4k rpm. better ask niky. he can explain it to you up to the last minute detail.

Uhmmm... can I just say:

0-100 km/h in less than 9 seconds.

10 km/l in really bad traffic, and 20 km/l

on the highway?

This is one test-drive I'm really enjoying. The sad part is that we have to give the car back on Tuesday.

get the focus, look for popot at global city. smooth driving at lakas ng hatak. very roomy pa.

im looking at a preowned 2.0 focus hatch and a mazda 3 hatch and deciding which one is a better buy in the long run. here are some details about the cars:

ford focus 2 liter: 20k mileage, 2005 model, black, around 30k more expensive than the mazda

mazda 3 hatch: 29k mileage, 2006 model, gray

i really like the ford focus better coz of its styling, euro car feel and interior space. my only worry is the fuel consumption (one of my considerations) which is a bit higher than the mazda since it's a 2 liter car. for the car owners of both cars, what do you think is the better buy overall? how much fuel consumption are you getting for both?
is the fc difference between the two insignificant? i probably average 5000km a year for car usage. what do you think?
