April 22nd, 2012 02:30 PM #1I'm choosing between a late-model E46 or a newer E90.
I like the sports look of the E46. The E90's interior looks boring. These cars are in similar price brackets. However, with regards to driving dynamics and the overall package, what are your experiences when moving from one platform to the other? Thoughts?
Which generation is more of an ultimate driving machine?

April 22nd, 2012 11:04 PM #2I'd prefer the E46! IMHO, that is the last good looking car BMW was going to produce for over ten years. Basta yung E46, medyo bagu-bago pa, hindi mataas ang mileage and is of a relatively high variant, yun na talaga.

April 22nd, 2012 11:45 PM #5Looks wise, I prefer the E90 to the E46. But if given the chance to own another BMW 3 series I'd definitely go with the classic E30.

318i makes roughly the same power as your typical 2-liter compact. What it does have over the Jap sedans is a better tranny, and a much more solid ride. I guess the sportier compact sedans (Mz3, Lancer EX, etc) could probably match its nimbleness by now, but the feel of going at speed in a German car is still a rather unique experience.
Of course, if you can afford it, go for the 325i so that you've got bags of power.

April 23rd, 2012 01:49 AM #10Wow! 325i pala, last batch at low mileage pa! Kunin mo na yan!
E46 na 318i? Naah~ If this one's in the menu, I'd rather get a 2.0L FD and have the pleasure of outdragging one, or better yet a V6 midsize sedan which you would be able to get for similar prices, or maybe even lower, in the 2nd hand market.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
