Note that on-paper power doesn't always translate to on-the-road power, though... In testing, the Ford Ranger's torquey engines are still the cream of the pickup crop (even against the Navarra)... wider powerbands, kasi. Nissan's new YD engine is rather peaky.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

like the 2.2l CRDI Engine of Santa Fe, it is punchy form 0-50kph, but lags at top end.....hope to rechip the ECU ( if possible ) for a longer power bond.

but that small engine can match most 2.5-3.0l CRDI of other make.

Kevin Limjoco of C!Magazine chipped his. Says the acceleration times went from around 11 seconds to the mid-9's from 0-100 km/h. But his chip was really expensive. The Unichip will also work for your ride, and at 30,000 pesos, is about half the price of the common diesel chips on the market. The only disadvantage is that you'll have to leave the car at Speedlab for two or three days for installation and tuning, since it's not plug-and-play like the diesel chips... if the plug-and-play option is available for the Santa Fe, it'll cost another 20-30k.

I know the guy, he once dropped by in one of our ebs at Alabang and gave us few C Mags, but he was driving his Merc then. Do you know what software they use?

    Thanks for the info Niky.

sir niky, chip guru, Ive read most of your post reagrding chips and lpg conversion, balak ko kasi bumili ng chip din for my diesel DID, kaso yung nakita ko hindi yung kinakabit after the ecu, but sa fuel rail kinakabit (plug and play din, no wire cutting), sa engine bay kanakabit sa socket daw ng fuel rail. may difference ba yung ganitong chip ang yung unichip?
