Get the CRDi tucson. Or get an A/T pickup. May City ka naman eh. Diesel for the win.

Kung kaya pa magdagdag, Base level Mu-x or non-vgt montero pwede.

Kung may pambili ng CRDi Tucson edi may pambili na rin ng Montero GLS-V. Dun na ko sa Montero.

Pwede rin Sorento if you need something car-like, but the Montero is really the more practical all-rounder.

To aid further in choosing, how much is the limit? 1M? 1.5M? 2M?

Test drive both. The Altis was also one of my choices but I was turned off by the 1.6V's beige interior. Plus the dashboard is a bit too old fashioned for my taste.

The Tucson' design is getting a tad too old as well. Hyundai's higher maintenance cost in general is also something to consider. That's why I went for the Sportage .

Well, the car plan limit is just below Php 1M, with my share being 30% of the cost of the vehicle, payable over 5 years.

The company takes care of the insurance and maintenance. I'm fortunate enough to have been given a gas allowance, so FC, while important, is not that much of a concern in the long term.

I tested the Tucson in GLS trim last Saturday. Steering feels light and the throttle is ok. Pretty quiet cabin. Para ngang ang dami ko pang ipapakabit para gumanda like the perforated step boards, illuminated scuff plates and probably front and rear skid plates.

    For 1M budget, Altis 1.6V.
Yun nga lang beige ang interior. But you can have this changed to black leather together with the sidings at seatmate or leder interia. However, the dash will retain the same beige color accent though.
