CRDi>>>VCDi. A true 7 seater unlike the Cpativa parang pilit lang. Sure Captiva has torque split (AWD) and has more features but as always the CAKE (the car itself) is more important than the ICING (accessories and features).

^ I second the motion on the Santa Fe.

    But since you're considering 5-seater CUV's/SUV's why not get a Ford Escape 4x2 ? 999k. ;)

the new Tucson maybe worth the wait =). Hyundai diesels are really good.

I'd suggest you test drive these cars to see for yourself. Nothing beats getting behind the wheel and getting a feel of the car...

Tucson or Santa fe (7 Seats) for me.. Hyundai is really on a roll nowadays....

But we bought the MonteroSport haha, since it was cheaper, Seats 7, better ride since it uses coil springs not leaf springs and we got the unit quickly because one buyer backed out...
We also checked the Captiva but it was priced near the MS....

Saw the Tucson though GL variant lang, maganda sya except for the front part of the car which looks very bland. Wala kasing chrome around the whole grill kaya no contrast, unlike sa 4x4 na kasama na chrome accent. Other features look great, even the 2nd row seats have more legroom than the Santa Fe's! My dad has a Santa Fe na kaya I'm not interested in it na (Ako ang nagpush sa kanya to get it)

I feel that the facelifted Escape is old already & gas guzzler daw according to a friend who has one. Nasira rin injectors ng Escape nya kaya problematic sya ngayon.

Next step is to test drive the tucson, forester & MS. I've scratched out the Captiva already.

Forester and Montero Sport alam ko may mga test drive units sila. Tucson, ayaw ipa test drive

kaya nag aalala ako kung ano kalalabasan pag nakuha ko na yung Tucson 4WD. sana maka tapat sya sa CR-V or better pa

for me test drive the forester. i prefer that one.
avoid both kamo. sure forester is like that racer suv that everybody talks about pero pam-BMW din maint nyan

for me, ang mga sigurado wala kang talo in terms of long term na suvs are

    the tucson and the crv

    sa luma modelo

    the escape and the x-trail.

kasi resonably priced 'tong mga to

yun naman monterosport, haayz like i said it's just people deprived of the Pajero FM noon araw and bumabawi lang sila. pero from the looks of it parusa manehuhin yan sa congested manila traffic and even parking, haba kaya . i hate long cars.
