malayo pre...i reset the meter just before entering the edsa-NLE entrance all the way to the san fernando exit toll gate...it register a 11.5 km/l reading.... riding at a 2400 rpm with 120 km/hr average speed...with a few spurt of 140 km/hr at some point...so in my opinion tipid sya... some of the threads ive read mas tipid if your * 2000 rpm lang...kaso mabigat kasi paa ko..hehehe

by the way for all of you who dont know...ung 4x4 na lumalabas lately is AWD...it means not all the time 4 wheels ang tumatakbo...this has been the most misconception ng tao about the AWD o real time 4 wheel drive...so ndi sya ganun kalakas talaga kumain ng gas like most people think...it just gives you an extra 2 wheel on the back pag nahihirapan na ang front...kaya sya nagiging 4 wheel...but on city driving lang...gumagana lang is 2 wheel sa harap but when your up to climbing like going to tagaytay if the engine feels need nya more power dun nya palang trigger ung other two...

if I will rank my preferred SUV based on the available models right now

    1. Sta Fe CRDi
    2. Honda CRV
    3. Chevy Captiva CRDi
    4. Fortuner D4D
    5. Sportage CRDi
    6. Outlander but only if may diesel. sabi daw may lalabas

about the outlander, may i knw where did u hear that?

the outlander diesel will come with a volkswagen TDI engine just like in europe! sosy! it has to be that. the 4D56 is just to bulky and best fitted for RWD functions. no one in the asia/latin america has seen an outlander diesel-- yet!

maganda captiva pero problem sa ganyan eh after 5 years eh baka walang piyesa yan....

Welocme... The Sportage is a Kia... latest version shares its platform and mechanicals with the Hyundai Tucson.
    Kia Sportage.

The Shanghai-GM built Venture was originally intended for Chaina only(badge as a Buick in China), I guess this could be part of the problem... the Captiva on the other hand, like the Optra and Aveo was really intended to be exported to different markets.
