The Toyota, wala kang problem sa parts and 4A-FE fuel consumption is decent enough, kasing pareho ng 2E Carb.
Civic LXi, same fuel economy with the VTi
City is more fuel efficient than the Civic LXi

    My other suggestions include:
THE ULTIMATE USED CAR GUIDE: Used Car of the Week - Nissan Sentra (1995-2001)
THE ULTIMATE USED CAR GUIDE: Used Car of the Week - Mitsubishi Lancer (1993-1999)

Basta try mo muna magipon pa ng marami so you can have other choices as well
sir myk, parang lahat yata ng sasakyan na-review mo na ah!

These two sites are good enough starting points. They have the most updated ads. I prefer to look at ayosdito first as it is the faster site. But Sulit has more ads, and the ads usually have more details and pictures. You can look at the thread bro tsinelas30 has created, the one about the 120k budget. Most of things you need to know are mentioned there. He already got his 1998 Sentra EX Saloon for 114k, and so far seems to be very satisfied with it.

Between the two, mag Sentra ka na talaga. Laki ng agwat ng edad. But still, I suggest you give the Lynx a second look. Ganda kasi...

by the way, mukhang mahirap kasi i-maintain ang lynx sir? and baka magastos sa gas? may binibenta samin nito 80k lang.. company car siya..

Not really. Sir niky has extensive knowledge with this car. The Lynx uses Mazda parts, so parts are easily available and not really expensive. The matic variant is thirsty, but the manual is not. Its really comfortable, quite spacious and rather upscale as compared to the others.

Best to check out these two models and test drive to see which one you prefer.

when it comes to 2nd hand car,mag Nissan ka, you get better value for your bucks.. try mo e compare e.g Sentra 95 model to a Toyota/Honda same year model..makikita mo difference..

I do have other suggestions pero kung decided ka na amongst the two.. I'll go with the sentra. We bought a sentra 2 years ago... 1995 model * 60k lang.. pinaayos lang ang aircon and now running very good.

OT: Who will shoulder the maintenance of the vehicle.. still your dad?

onga po eh.. ako po decided na ako mag nissan.. kasi ako pinapapili ng father ko w/in that budget kung ano ang maganda at matipid eh nagsuggest ako dati big body.. so kausapin ko nalang regarding dito.. nagtitingin tingin na din po ako ngayon para incase mag go signal na mukha nga po kasing overrated satin ang toyota at honda eh, layo ng diperensya.. sa nissan nga po kita ko na difference.. styling palang ng exterior moderno na compared sa bigbody since 1992 ba o 93 up until 97 ganun pa din itsura niya, at ang pinakamaganda pa sa nissan is yung price niya at madami pang iba

The Sentra you are referring to is the B13 model that was sold from 1991-1999. But here are some reminders, the 1991-1994 had a full range of models which are the 1.3 JX, LEC, 1.4 EX Saloon, and 1.6 Super Saloon and SE Saloon. 1995-1999 only had the basic 1.3 LEC. Basta it would be better to go with a B14 model that was sold from 1995-1999 kasi mas recent ng kaunti.

Just remember the B13 EX Saloon's 1.4 engine is carb pero the B14 is EFI na.
