    I'm choosing between getting a 2010 Hyundai Tucson, 2010 Honda CR-V, 2004 Toyota RAV4 or 2004 Honda CR-V.

I'm still undecided on whether I should go for brand new or spend half a million less for a 2nd hand SUV. Is it worth it?

    Ano tingin nyo?

Nothing beats a brand new vehicle, that's for sure.

2010 Hyundai Tucson diesel engine! Siguradong hindi ka lugi. Why spend half a million peso for a second hand car na:

    1) walang warranty
    2) walang choice of accessories (from the start),paint color, plate number
    3) pinagsawaan na ng iba
    4) di na in perfect condition
    5) di mo alam ang history

tama ka sir, nothing beats a brand new car if money is not an issue...

anyways, basing it from looks, parang mas cool ang Honda CR-V (just my two-cents). Nakasakay na din ako sa cr-v at sobrang comfortable ang ride. I just dont know kung tipid sa gas pero interior and exterior wise, mas maganda ang CR-V para sakin.....

the biggest reason why you should not buy a second-hand vehicle for the next 3 yrs or so, or even beyond

Thanks for all the feedback. Very sound advice. I guess that buying brand new is also what I want, the only reason I was considering 2nd hand was because I would be able to buy right now instead of waiting a month or two.

Is the diesel engine for Tucson better than the gas engine version? Considering that diesel engines will cost more with parts and maintenance?

So between 2010 Tucson and CR-V, how do they compare in terms of:

    • Fuel efficiency
    • Ride and comfort quality
    • Performance (of the 2.0L variants)
    • Maintenance costs

mahal ang maintenance at parts ng honda thats for sure.

mas madali imaintain ang diesel engine

malaki matitipid mo sa fuel pag diesel, sa crv ung isa kong friend bihira gamitin lakas sa gasolina
