    im for bmw.

    had the chance of driving an mb w123, medyo mahirap i-drive, didnt see the comfort and luxury eh.

    also drove a 316, '95 yata. nice handling.

    yun nga lang, im comparing models years apart. hehehe.

    overpriced nga ang MB, sa states magkapresyo ang BMW 325 saka MB C230 ($29,900), dito naman MB C200K Avantgarde kapresyo na yung BMW 520i.

    gusto ko MB.. kasi ang dame na nang BMW eh.. hehehe..

    nun nakasakay ako sa benz ni hens nakakatuwa lang un mga sensors..hahaha.. tunog ng tunog pag may mga paedestrians.. haha...

    The number of bimmers you actually see is a function of excellent sales/advertising/marketing, hands-on involvement of BMW in the philippines (BMW Phils, Inc.), and all-out support of BMW Phils to its dealerships. A centralized parts depot was even set-up by BMW phils. to support parts availability.

    Unfortunately, DaimlerChrysler is not that active here in the phils. they do not even have an office here and just manage through its local dealers here.

    So, BMW outnumber MB's here in the Phils reflects the former's success in hands-on marketing even if the Philippines is considered a marginal market in the Asian region.

    Overall, both the car quality of BMW and MB's are at par. It's the marketing savy and involvement that is making the difference here in this market.
