April 24th, 2011 06:05 PM #2Most definitely the Grand Starex. I'd suggest you get from the grey market sources like Hancars for better deals and better specs. The Starex is bigger in every dimension except the height and has the longer wheelbase. Ride is also better since the Super Grandia still uses leaf springs for the rear. The Starex also has a huge performance advantage having 72 more horsepower, 142Nm more torque and also a 5 speed A/T with H-Matic vs. the Super Grandia's 4 speed A/T. Even the less expensive CVX variant is a better deal than the Super Grandia. As for fuel economy, the Starex is not known for being fuel efficient but the Super Grandia is too underpowered and uses a 4 speed A/T so fuel economy shouldn't be much better either.
