Stay away from the 2.0L Escape, especially if its A/T. We have 1st hand experience on this. Underpowered and very, very thirsty. This can be differentiated from the newer 2.3L ones with its black plastic bumpers, a different steering wheel and gearshift.

The 2.3L is nice. Its not exceptionally fast but is no slouch. Gives good gas mileage too for its engine size.

Hahaha... yup. That's the long and short of it. 2.0 bad. 2.3 good. Very good.

Depends on your driving and route bro. Our Tribute 2.3 does around 7km/L, while our Escape 2.3 in Taiwan did around 9km/L (in Kaohsiung province).

City driving (w/ a light foot) can hit up to 7km/L+ but a heavy foot will give you 5.5-6km/l
    Highway: 10-12km/L

At just 3-4 kms, your engine will barely warm up.

Don't expect more than 5-7 km/l with any automatic-equipped crossover in that kind of situation.

    Hi Niky,

Ano ba ideal distance para makuha yung let's say, truest consumption ng car sa city?

My Vios does bad on short trips din kasi (4kms) = sometimes, 9km/L...
