SUV = 1st gen Honda CRV or 1st gen Toyota RAV4.

Both fall below year 2000.

If you're lucky enough to find an Escape that's within your budget -- unlikely, though -- then it's a steal .. unless there will be a catch (flooded, daming sira etc.)

OK lang ba ang M/T sakanya bro? Kung OK, kuha ka ng Ford Escape 2.0XLS M/T. With some haggling, some units would fit your budget. Mga early 2000s yan, much newer than the CRV's and Rav4's that you will find. This one's a real nice car. Very solid, well built. With the M/T you'd get some good performance out of it too, not to mention that the engine sounds really good. Very sportscar like growl unlike the usually asthmatic tone found in most Toyota engines, especially the less performance minded ones.

Kung hardcore na hardcore at SUV talaga ang gusto with the ladder frame chassis and 4WD, you can always get the early to mid 90s Pajero...
