July 23rd, 2016 11:58 AM #1141Considering the Tribute's weight penalty and slightly larger engine displacement, I suppose the FC is just about right. I shudder to think how much more the V6 variant consumes... It is usually driven for short distances only (3-6kms one way). I wonder how it would do in the highway. I've never tried it before. The diesels always get to run the long distance trips.

^^^ We have traditional ATs, dual-clutch (DCT), and CVT cars at home. Wala naman ako problem sa overtaking. Yung Jazz 1.3L 5AT nga lang makupad so medyo kelangan timplado sa overtaking.

What I noticed on CVT is that there is no sensation of gears shifting up and down. With my Forester, when I put the pedal down, the CUV shoots above triple digits and I notice that the dashboard displays that I am in 7th or 8th gear already (with no paddle shifting).
Unlike with DCT, I can feel the gears shifting up from the low gears to the high gears. The 1st to 3rd is quite noticeable but the 4th to 6th gears is smooth and very quick.

August 1st, 2016 01:15 AM #1148Natuto ako sa manual mag drive pero stop na ako dring ng 3 years. Kung bibili ba ako automatic na car ay hindi ba ako mahihirapan mag drive or dapat manual bilhin ko?

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
