I don't know if the latest models of Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi Strada have identical suspension sytem with Toyota Fortuner and Montero Sport, pero mas ok talaga yung Hilux sa offroad, masyado pong bouncy yung Strada ang sakit sa katawan.

I mean yung front suspension ng hilux at fortuner or ng strada at montero sports. Matagtag talaga kasi ang stada lalo na sa harapan.

Test drive po nyo sa malupit na kalsada at 60, 80, and 100 kph.

matagtag? meaning matigas ba yun suspension? I have seen a video of a hilux off roading at medyo stiff yun rear suspension.... i prefer a stiffer suspension sa front than the back.... tataob kasi yun sasakyan kapag ganun

Hindi po eto video, may actual unit po kami ng 3.0 hilux at 3.2 strada. Mas swabe po talagang i-offroad ang hilux sa strada.

My vote goes to the Monty. great value for money and overall performance.

For the refined foot, I'd pick the BMW X6.

Serious off roading request serious torque power. Hindi po speed. Serious off roading requires serious modding to put in lifts (2-4" not puny 1"), big tires (like 33x10.5 or 11 not some puny 30x10) and of course serious power (DIESEL not gas)

    The Montero 3.2 4x4 with 253lb-ft torque and 163HP.
    The Patrol 3.0 4x4 does 280lb-ft and 158HP.
    Toyota Fortuner V 4x4 has 252lb-ft and 163hp.
    Hilux 4x4G has 253/163.
    Ford Everest 3.0 280/156.
    Prado 302/160....Land Cruiser 479/282....

Natural winner is the Land Cruiser.

Serious Offroading? Select from your choices which one has the best:
    1.) gear ratio for off-roading Hi&Lo
    2.) Axle/suspension articulation
    3.) Tighter Limited slip
4.) Best Aproach and Departure Angle
5.) Ramp over Angle( the shorter the wheelbase the better), 6.) Full control of differential Locks (or install air lockers) Front, rear & center
7.) Highest wading depth or install snorkels
8.) which one will look good with steel bumpers with a winch!
    9.) Ecu insulation
10.) Lifting Kit availability & possibility
    11.) Ground Clearance

    Enjoy!!!

Ill go with the montero sport 3.2 kung me manual...

, IMO mas maganda M/T sa 4x4 off roading mas feel mo kasi ang road and mas maganda timing mo at timpla with every road condition, lalo na sa inching.
