September 6th, 2015 08:42 PM #11Everybody knows the first iteration of those vehicles will have flaws. Ask me again after the 2nd facelift.

September 21st, 2015 03:18 AM #12Kung fortuner kukunin mo, huwag nalang. The ride is quite bad kahit na sa updated suspension niya. Montero is more comfy sa ride department. Diesel engines are quite durable. Sometimes akala mo, sira na. No no no, only the fuel system lang Problema. Change fuel filter, clean injectors will usually remedy it. Worst case will be injection pump calibration only. These engines are designed to run up to 300,000 kms without any problem.

did you have a chance to test drive long term both the new Fort & MS to come up with such a conclusion? I am just curious

September 26th, 2015 12:02 AM #15Of course, the new fort and Montero is not yet out. Paano mag long term. Kahit test drive, wala pa nga. Based on current models lang. Fortuners updated to four link suspension during their facelift last few years. Pero, di parin maganda ang ride. Naka stamby lang cya kasi last choice. We have pajeros clocked more than 200th kms. Calibrated fuel pumps, changed waterpumps, changed radiators but never open engines.
