another buying advice - Tribute '07 2.3AT or Grand Vitara '07 2.0AT?

May bumagsak sa bubong ng Tribute ng friend ng brother ko. Basag yung moonroof.

Ewan ko kung stray bullet o spent firecracker. Wala pa naman comprehensive.

The Escape does offer all wheel drive (not available with the Tribute).

There are no 4x2 Grand Vitaras. The V6 model has a moonroof also.

get the grand vitara ... if you want get the v6 version it has sunroof hids etc etc

the tirbute is just plain ugly .... interor ang exerior wise i like the escape better

Had the experience of owning a Vitara kaya Vitara vote ko.

I'd go with the Tribute 2.3L - the only problem with the Tribby is its old-looking interior.

The tranny & engine mated to the Vitara is a big letdown.

we have a 2.3 AT tribute.. performance-wise, super okay xia.. superb handling.. mabilis ang hatak.. smooth takbo and super quiet ng engine.. mabilis rin.. :-) wala nman kami naeexperience na negative sa moonroof nya.. we actually love it pag nasa tagaytay kami, hehehe.

looks-wise, yea, mas maganda vitara.. in and out..

sa tribute kasi maganda lang yung harap. hehe

thanks for all the inputs mga sirs.
we would be getting a white Tribute , mas type ng sister ko yung body nya, medyo masyado kasi muscular yung GV. plus the sunroof is a plus for her.

but like what kyle618 said, you can choose between GV, Tribute and Xtrail.
maybe you can also add the 07 Escape to the list.

kawawa naman yung nabagsakan na Tribute, tsk tsk tsk. magkano kaya aabutin yun, kung glass lang siguro, madali pa paltan.
di pwede yung V6 eh. daily drive lang naman, kawawa sa gas sister ko.
hehehe.

yep. medyo luma na nga interior ng Tribute compared to the GV.
pero mas nakita ata ng sister ko yung sunroof, told her meron din sunroof yung V6 ng GV. ayaw naman, matakaw daw kasi sa gas, plus muscular looking masyado.
