September 19th, 2016 10:52 AM #21hello and good morning po..
yesterday i was able to finally check 2 Altis..
okay naman yung interior ng altis..considering that i am 6'+ pero comfortable both front and rear..the big difference for me is, i find the interior of the altis too professional..more on the conservative side compared to the more aggressive and sporty, space age design of the FD..
according to the mechanic na napagtanungan ko, ung VVT-i is almost, kung hnd the same, sa consumption ng i-VTEC..almost di mapapansin yung difference daw..pag Dual VVT-i, un daw mas matipid na..
mas marami testimonials encouraging me to get FD..
engine and power output, i don't know about this, pakicorrect na lang po mga nagather k na info if wrong, feeling ko parang mas mabigat yung body ng altis sa fd?mas malapad at mahaba yata yung altis?sa arangkada kc, napansin ko na mas renponsive yung fd, konting tapak lang, hahatak na agad..though sabi nila, top speed, nakakalamang daw ang altis..anyway, im not planning on doing 150+ kph on the road, and even if i want to, the kind of road we have specially sa probinsya, will not let me do such speed..
so right now, looks like faith is telling me to get FD, and based narin po sa inyong mga inputs/comments..
i tried olx but MT FD with good price tags are selling like hotcakes..parang ipopost palang yata eh may nakakuha na..i saw once FD 06 priced at 285k, i dont know if that was legit pero if makakakita ako ng ganung price kukunin ko na..haha!what do you think po?
so looks like my only problem now is kung saan ako makakakuha ng car na ganun..
please, keep the comments coming po, issues and problems on both cars..it will not only benefit me but also other members po dito regarding sa dalawang cars na to..
may post na po ba dito sa forum about FD?i mean on how to check a good, quality 2nd hand FD?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH PO!

September 19th, 2016 01:54 PM #22backread ka sir sa thread ng fd. 75 pages lang naman.
kung gusto mo ng MT, MT 2.0 ang hanapin mo. as far as i know un MT 1.8 06-08 walang airbags.
haba hehe just sharing

I have a VVTi and Dual VVTi Altis, both have the same fuel consumption in city driving. The Altis has better fuel consumption than the FD. Remember, the Altis is only a 1.6 while the FD is a 1.8.
The FD feels lighter because it's more powerful. 141 hp vs 109 hp is a significant difference, especially since both cars weigh the same (1200 kg).
There are a lot of manual FDs, your car dealer just doesn't have one. Just be patient when waiting. All those FDs that are sold at low prices are most likely in poor condition.
From my experience buying used cars, it pays off to buy the more expensive unit, since it usually gives you less headaches in the long run. Aside from the money you'll spend on repairs, you also have to consider the time you'll waste with your car in the shop.
Good luck in your search for the perfect used MT FD.
