No question, it's the 2 for me out of those two cars.

You don't get a manual transmission with either of them anyway... :sob:
...so you might as well aim for the car with more space and more driver involvement.

    Regarding PMS:
Honestly it doesn't matter what badge your car wears. It all costs the same. Differences are pretty minimal.

Oh there is? I stand corrected then.

But I still vote for the Mazda. Toyota's failure to liberate as much passenger space from its small cars as its rivals disappoints me big-time.

I think only the Jazz is more spacious than the Yaris but I am 100% sure the Yaris is more spacious (passenger wise) compared to the Mazda and Suzuki... Don't let the exterior fool you!

    My quick judgement:

    1. Exterior: Mazda 2
    2. Interior: Yaris
    3. Cargo Space: Mazda 2
    4. Passenger Space: Yaris
    5. Fuel Efficiency: Maybe tie
    6. Road Handling: Mazda 2
    7. Spare Parts: Yaris

IMHO, these two hatchbacks are technically tie based from my comparison results above:

But since Mazda 2 is a new model(locally only, it was already released in 2007 in major markets)

I'll choose the Mazda 2! Besides, it was already voted World Car of the Year in 2008 by top auto journalists around the world.

The Yaris is too bland and old.. No wonder its not selling well.

Just pick the Mazda2 para maiba naman!
