given the number of members in the family (4) plus the yaya I also believe that a subcompact sedan will only be acceptable for a couple of years.
for a hatch, you may find yourself needing to put some of the baggages on the lap of your rear passengers.
if you can afford another car in 3-5 years, i'd recommend the G4 GLS or a vios J (if you can live with its bareness but it has a 4 cylinder engine)
but if this will be your only car for 5 years and beyond, better choose a more family oriented car like the avanza, ertiga, or the spin.
another option would be delay your purchase for a couple of months and and opt for an innova

February 25th, 2015 04:57 PM #23parang ganyan din choices ko dati (kasama ang wigo). pero nung lumabas ang ertiga, di na ko nahirapan pumili. try calling or talking to a suzuki SA. usually they offer 30-35k discount. so yung 712k magiging 677k. sulit ang pag add mo ng 27k sa budget mo sa laki ng additional space, whether trunk or seating, na makukuha mo. FC is good, at least 12kml.

Being a family man, I'd stay away from subcompact hatches. Mahirap na ma-rear end and to compromise the safety of your kids. If you got another car, a subcompact will be a nice second car, but if it is your only car, i'd take a look at a sedan instead like the G4 or Vios J.

February 25th, 2015 09:25 PM #27See attached file for the specs of the Ertiga GL model.
Baka po GA model tunutukoy nyo po kasi.
Not being a devil's advocate here pero if willing ka mag Ertiga GL baka gusto mo na din tingnan ang Avanza na mid level, though matagtag yun.

February 25th, 2015 11:32 PM #30agree ako sa mga suggestion nila ng Ertiga, even I want one for myself. mas maliit sa innova, mas malaki sa avanza. bang for the buck at napakaganda.
naglalaway ako tuwing may katabi ako sa kalsada, at ang dami niyan dito sa cavite area
