For about 650k you can get a 2010 Ford Focus TDCI Powershift, Im sure this will be the best blend of comfort and fuel economy

July 8th, 2013 11:34 PM #15thanks for all your inputs.
the ford focus could be added in our options, but our worry about it is the cost of maintenance. is it more costly to maintain a focus as compared to the honda models mentioned?
we are a bit leaning towards the altis 1.6 v due to the right balance between FC, space, and maintenance cost.
the 1.3 variant of the city is also enticing due to its fuel consumption.
the civic is a bit far from the two in terms of the FC and maintenance cost, but wins us over due to its space and looks.
the vios and mirage are good options too considering our budget, but we took them out of the equation based on our preference on looks.
any other options that we can consider?
thanks!

If you're leaning towards the City in AT, get the 1.5L model. There's no big advantage in FC between the 1.3L and 1.5L models if both have AT trannies.

July 9th, 2013 08:01 AM #18IMO... Altis V first mas malambot i drive mas comfortable pati mga upuan. Civic next mas sporty i drive and sharp and steering more precise. FC i think di nag kakalayo mas temptem ka lang humataw sa civic. Features for me same lang ganda lang push start stop ng altis, gwapo naman dials civic. Maski alin sa dalawa panalo ka.
Thank you!
