Santa Fe ako. Proven engine and platform. The new CRV is an all new platform and engine. You never know if there might be any hidden problems. Not to mention the piddling 120hp and at this price point too.

I'd get the Santa Fe and then if the CRV proves to be a good product, and couple of years later I still like it, I'd sell the Santa Fe and change it for a CRV.

    i agree with gti.
buying the newest model in the market is always a gamble, birthing pains and all.
it might turn out to be a great buy, or it might become one big bomb.
i'd wait six months to a year, for the feedback of the initial buyers.

^All of them use old powertrains though. Same old R18 and L15 engines that power the Civic, City and Jazz.

    so, it's not really new?
just an old model with some very minor changes, being marketed as new?

    in that case, go honda.
i personally prefer jap over kor.

I also prefer japs over korean cars.
And I still end up with 4 hyundais in my garage.
Maybe I already need a glass, I probably mistook the "H" Hyundai badge as Honda.
