November 12th, 2015 11:37 PM #2both are very capable and heavy duty 4wd beasts. The Defender has reached its age and soon to be changed by a new model. It all boils down to preference. Personally, I'll go for the LC 70 series

AFAIK, in the Middle East the LC is still the preferred workhorse.
Sadly, the current Defenders are about to go the way of the dodo.

I have both vehicles, although both are manual, the lc70 is easier to drive.
I would go with the lc 70 too.

November 14th, 2015 11:55 PM #8minicarph, maraming direct importer niyan dito. search "land cruiser 70" in olx lalabas iyan sila. I bought mine brand new last 2012. Except for the fact that it is manual, i love my 70. it is very old school with solid axles front and rear and diff locks front and rear. it also has a non-turbo 4.2L engine and I think mechanical injection pump. talagang old school.

LC 70 madami nag benenta nyan.. And it's kinda cheap na din ngayon.
