I usually keep my car three to five years. May issue ba sa cvt ng nissan? Sa thread ang nabasa ko is mabagal sa initial na acceleration which I think is normal sa CVT. Alam kong may issue before sa unang labas ng CVT ng honda.

you seem to know fluid change intervals.. maybe the cvt will last in your ownership...

these are the same jatco cvt issues with the sylphy... i only needed to see 5 reported issues and there are more..

    this is the internet.
veracity should always be taken with a spoonful of salt.
it is not easy to differentiate between true complaints and planted inflammation-malignation.

i'm not putting suspicion on the post-er.
i'm commenting on what one might download from the internet, thinking it is "Bible-true".

nissan & suzuki cvts havent had much mileage in our country. we probably wont know when theyll conk out. give it a few years before owners start asking about these cvts: "high rpms" and "slippage" symptoms..

would you buy a cvt sylphy? i know you and I wouldn't.

Agree on this... and it’s up to us to decide whether to believe, to follow or the other way around...

Who makes the CVT tranny for Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Toyota? How are they in terms of reliability against the CVT used by Nissan?

I have no issues with Subaru’s CVT tranny. I have not heard of any CVT-related concerns on the newer Subie vehicles.

How many local Lancer EX and ASX vehicles had their CVTs fail? Nissan used CVT on their previous gen Xtrail, were there failures also?

i used to drive a 2003 cedia with cvt, with 100K on the odometer.
    "it drove fine."
but the car gargled gas. i reluctantly let it go.
