Simple - dahil mabenta.
The fact that the City is still selling like hotcakes despite being priced higher than the competition means that Honda's still got buyers hooked, and I wouldn't be surprised if they think that they can increase the price without a decrease in sales.

November 2nd, 2014 09:55 AM #43I own a 2009 Honda City. Maintenance costs around 3,700 to 4,000 pesos every 10,000 kms. Casa maintained and I use Honda synthetic oil. I used to have a 2006 Avanza, also casa maintained with Toyota synthetic oil. 10,000 km service interval. Cost is also 3,000 to 4,000 pesos. So while your car is under warranty and casa maintained, cost is about the same. If you have it serviced outside, then Toyota parts will be less expensive.

The Ecoboost uses the same transmission as the 1.5. 0-100 times of the Powershift Ecoboost are actually as good as the manual Ecoboost.
I've driven the 1.6 and 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta and their DCTs don't slip. Dry clutch DCTs transfer the power to the wheels immediately (hence the roughness at low speeds).

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
