i agree with this, there aren't any official price and specs yet kaya hirap mag decide which one will be a better buy. from what i've seen the focus will be faster than the impreza, but i'm sure when it comes to build quality and features the impreza will win. btw ken block went to CnC meet here in irvine cali with a focus rs, that car is a beast.

with the sky high prices of premium gas I'd take the turbo diesel Focus and install a set of KW variant3 coilovers making it a very enjoyable daily drive. This combo will even cost less than a turbo charged Subaru plus lower fuel cost and maintenance.

Given what we have now, I'll go for the Focus. Looks alone makes it win, the clincher will be an improved diesel engine paired with a dual-clutch transmission. Gut feeling tells me they'll be selling the non-wrx/sti Imprezas here feature-stripped, hopefully I'm wrong though.

well so far motor image hasn't stripped our subaru's except for the HU, but every thing else is the same.

Disagree, from most public people's point of view especially yun mga loyal kay toyota and honda they would still definitely buy them over an elantra. Madami pa din kasing naniniwala na the best si toyota or si honda.

Sa itsura ford focus ako, mukhang mas pumangit pa for me yun new impreza.

I agree motorimage don't strip off that much the airbag is still curtain type if I am not mistaken. Maybe the one being highly stripped right now are hyundai cars and kia cars though I love them now.
