That's how North American cars are built.

Kaya when I saw the current Trailblazer, medyo nadismaya ako. Too Asian looking yung kotse to sport the North American Chevy Trailblazer name.

Again, opinion ko lang ito ha!

    Wag kayo pikon talo!

    Yup, hehe.

Yeah, not many in that size bracket can eat the TBZ in terms of power. It's the other stuff that might matter to other folks

TBZ vs the Prado and Patrol are in the different categories the way I see it. Since the two belong to Luxury SUV then these two will enjoy longevity in the eyes of their fans plus with their higher price tags, they are more exclusive to the upper middle class buyers.

TBZ belongs to the Mid Size SUV so its a bigger market thus, it will be more common in the years to come. But this model offers value for your money in my view.

    Brennt,

Why don't you pay the TBZ a visit, get a test drive and see how it looks and feels? If you're happy with it, eh di yun na. Ang lamang niya kasi is siya ang pinakabago, so in terms of maintenance it should be the most worry free of the 3, giving you the latest technology. As with new technology, however, there could be some issues or bugs that are not yet fully resolved, and some parts that would cost more than old school turbo diesels. Read up on those na lang. Check out the Chevy forum on this board.

The Prado is indeed the oldest one of your choices. And it being expensive is in part a testament to its durability and reliability. Ok, let's add "perceived" to durability and reliability. It's not the fastest (it's probably one of the slowest or least powerful on paper) not best equipped (esp if you get the TMPI version), but it's pretty solid IMO. The 1KZ-TE is an old but reliable engine, and parts should be available at reasonable prices. If you find the ride too stiff, slap on OME shocks and be done with it.
