Hindi rin mura maintenance ng Honda 'no..
Last PMS nung CR-V 19.8K binayaran namin.
Ang CR-V 4X4 ba kaya mag 200? parang ayaw eh..

Yeah but that's every 10K and dealer serviced.
Mura ang PMS ng Hyundai sa umpisa, pagdating mo ng 20K kms, magugulat ka sa presyo (although I'm sure you won't mind ).
I'm not sure if it can do 200 (speed limited?) but I've noticed that it's economical (which is strange, given it's more than 2.0 and quite a big car for the engine).Last edited by Horsepower; January 13th, 2011 at 12:10 PM.

Di naman siguro.. Nakapag compute na ako. I'll be using Fully Synthetic Motor Oil (Motul CRDi Specific or Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck) every 10K ang oil change then every 5K ang top up.
Same same lang ng Honda.. 2 yung CR-V namin, both 2.4 4WD. Medyo madugo rin talaga.

You'll probably see that in the long run I guess (hence the long run projection). The honda will not have an expensive electronic turbo that will break down (and it will, mind you), and common-rail that will eventually need to be replaced just like other fuel injector systems.
But if you're just gonna keep these vehicles for less than five years, I guess either is fine.
Still, Santa Fe is far more practical at this price point AFAIK far cheaper too.

Hehehe.

If the competitor wasn't the CRV but another SUV from another brand with a similar engine, pwede pang makatwiran pero CRV vs. Tucson at yung katwiran is maintenance cost? I'd still get the Tucson for the power and fuel efficiency. Kahit na mahal ang maintenance and with more parts that can potentially break down, at least the FC is good which will even it up with the CRV in terms of maintenance cost.

Hindi ko naman pinapa burn out eh. SUV yan hindi Genesis Coupe.
AFAIK 5.2 or 5.4 meters ang turning radius. Hindi naman mahirap i-maneuver. Tamang control lang ang katapat. Mas sablay pa handling ng Trooper.

Ibig sabihin kong walang pinagkaiba in terms of looks.
Last edited by Starex_Gold; January 14th, 2011 at 12:14 AM.

Or any sort of unsettlement in the steering, especially during hard takeoffs? I remember reading a car mag featuring the Sorento and saying that's its tires were eaten up quickly.

Madali talaga maupod.
