im thinking of buying a new lancer in a few weeks from now.. i need help on whether ill buy or not. could you guys present me of the pros and cons of this car?

if the over all verdict is leaning towards the con side.. [SIZE=4]could you guys suggest of an alternative?[/SIZE] criteria is up to 1.6 engine lang, 700-800K 900K ultimate margin, reasonable maintenance, good performance, porma, and fuel efficiency as i will be driving long. im out of towner, mla-lag-bat areas. pls wag vios, d ko gusto ung nasa gitna yung gauges ko. and one more thing, due na kasi ung lancer for a new model next year e, may 2008 lancer na din na irrelease or na release na tlaga... im just not sure if they will release the same model here too...

i also noticed that lancer is not popular in the site... mejo disconnected ako from automotive issues and developments kc over the years e, may i ask why this is? dahil ba ito sa mga issues ng MMC? ung may recall thing? or talaga lang na pangit ung lancer ngayon? kahit sa road pansin ko d masyado marami lancer e, not so popular because of the value cars like vios, getz, picanto, etc...

Ilan Kilometers ba ang milage nun steel belt connecting the pulleys of the CVT transmission? I have been reading all around the internet na talaga smooth are ride pag CVT pero baka naman palit ka ng palit ng belt every 5K or 10K? Any feedback on this from Mitsubishi?

sorry tol ha, but i dont think the statement of dev was for you. kay art pogi ata un. kasi we were talking about the high end ng lancer. un lang!

and btw, ano ba ung avanza? auv ba yan? sedan or suv? d ko gets kasi ichura nya e, i think i saw this sa toyota showrum but im just not sure if it was the one, thanks!

onga no! belt nga pla un... which means mas mabilis ang wear and tear than the gears... thats a good observation! wla pako na babasa about it, kasi new tech pa yan e. bka wla pang bumibigay na belts... pero ang galing na na isip mo yun! wla pang nakapagbring up nyan... kahit ako d ko naisip yan e. hehehehe, ill ask sa showroom about it, but ill doubt if they'll say anything negative about it... open up a new thread about it... that will be interesting!

i doubt the mitsu sales execs would say something bad about it sympre kailangan nila bumenta eh ikaw na lang mag-open ng bago thread tol lets see what other people has to say about cvt though hindi ko sure ha, pero sa tingin mo malakas kaya sa akyatan ang cvt compared sa conventional planetary automatic gearbox?

fuel economy ba? then go for diesel -- Hyundai matrix or accent
we have the 97 lancer, grabe nga gas guzzler! nakakapikon gamitin.
