2003 Mitsubishi Lancer GLX or 99-00 Honda Civic VTI?

actually it is going to be the 3rd car in the family(fortunately it's for me

), kaya di ko masyadong iniisip ang resale value kasi 2nd hand na naman ang bibilin namin. pero syempre the "undying" exterior of the civic gives it a major plus. may titignan nga kami bukas na civic bukas at next week naman lancer.

i still want to know whether totoo ba na mas mabilis ung vti kaysa sa lancer dahil sa VTEC. considering na mas bago ang technology ng lancer kaysa sa vti

ahh kung resale value is irrelevant, civic pa rin ako.

plus side lang ng lancer sakin - mas maganda interior kesa sa civic.

Get the Civic, but go the extra mile and get the SiR variant. Its not very expensive nowadays and it makes the Lancer (or any other compact sedan of that era for that matter) look pig slow. Its got great performance, and the potential to give much more as well, and all that while giving good fuel mileage.

sir lancer glx 2005 kasi oto ko. satisfied naman ako. mabilis naman tumakbo as long as the engine is in good condition. so far wala pa namang major problem sa engine. at ang luwag ng space sa loob. A/C hanggang no. 2 lng kasi malamig na. legroom panalo compare sa iba.

performance is fine for daily use. no major problems sa maintenance... just be mindful of the mileage for change oil intervals...

Out of all the cedia versions, personally I like the 03 model. Actually, I like it better than our 2010 Lancer GLS. Because it looks classier (bec of the huge chrome front grill), and IMHO it looks like the 2010 Mitsu Galant. If I'm not mistaken. Kung same price sila, sa bagong modelo na lang ako. Rare din na makakita ako ng 03 na GLX na pormado at modified, pero ang 99~00 Vti, sobrang dami na sa daan. Minsan nga, parang magkakamukha na silang lahat.
